Multi-device sync & offline

Lookn syncs across all your devices through your account. Use your iPhone, iPad, and Android phone in any combination — your koko, dome, tasks, streaks, friends, and journal all stay in sync.

☁️ Sign in on a new device

1. Install Lookn on the new device.
2. Open the app → Sign in with the same email you use on your existing device.
3. Enter the 6-digit code we email you.
4. Wait a few seconds for hydration — a progress ring fills as your data downloads.
5. Done. Everything you've built is there.

❓ What syncs

• Your koko (name, mood, outfits)
• Your tasks, history, and streaks
• Your dome layout, equipped items, owned inventory
• Your journal entries and moods
• Your wallet (coins), bond points
• Your friend list and shared tasks
• Adventure and quest progress
• Lookn Plus entitlement (after restoring purchases on the second device)

❓ What doesn't sync

• Your phone's notification permission and Do Not Disturb settings (those live on each device)
• App appearance preferences set on a particular device (like the theme)

☁️ Offline mode

Lookn works without an internet connection for most things:

• ✅ Check off tasks
• ✅ Journal
• ✅ Pet your koko
• ✅ View and rearrange your dome
• ✅ Update mood
• ❌ Shop (needs internet)
• ❌ Friend activity (needs internet)
• ❌ Adventure progression (some steps)

Your offline activity is stored locally and syncs to the cloud the next time you connect.

🤝 If two devices edit the same thing

The most recent change wins. So if you check off a task on your phone and also on your iPad, only the latest one sticks (you won't get double coins, but you also won't lose progress). Lookn quietly syncs every few minutes while the app is open, and again in the background a few times a day — so devices stay close to in step.
