Adventures & journeys
Adventures are themed 30-day story cycles where your koko travels to a destination and collects discovery items. Each day you choose between two responses to a story moment and earn 150 coins. Available destinations: Willow Woods (free), Paris, St. John's (Plus-only), and more in development.
⚡ The energy bar
You need 25 energy to send your koko on a new adventure. Energy comes from finishing daily and weekly quests — usually around 10 energy per quest claim. The bar tops out at 100. Tasks alone don't fill it; quests do.
🗺️ Starting an adventure
- Tap the adventure entry on Home (or visit the Adventures area in the World tab).
- The first screen shows your energy bar. Once it's at 25 or more, tap continue.
- Pick a destination and tap Start Journey (or Start Flight if you're heading somewhere you bought a travel ticket for).
Only one adventure runs at a time. And you can't start another the same day you started the last (the day flips at 4 AM). The default starting destination is Willow Woods.
⏰ How long it takes
Each adventure day takes 8 hours of real time. Your phone gets a notification when your koko's back.
Finishing tasks while your koko's on the road cuts the wait short: every task you check off subtracts 30 minutes from the timer. The more you do, the faster they get back.
When the timer ends (or your tasks finish it early), you'll see the reward screen with the day's discovery item and 150 coins added to your wallet.
📦 What you collect
Over 30 days, your koko collects discovery items grouped by type:
- Food & Drink, Nature & Wildlife, Landmarks & Places
- History & Facts, Culture & Life, Shops & Markets
- Games & Activities, Finds & Objects
Items are saved per destination on your account and visible in your adventure log.
🎁 Rewards summary
- 150 coins per adventure day completed.
- Every 2 adventure starts = 1 streak saver (capped at 2).
- The discovery item collected each day for your log.
- While at a destination, travel furniture for that location appears in the Shop.
💬 FAQ
Can I do more than one adventure at a time?
No. Only one adventure is active at a time. Finish (or wait out) the current one before starting a new one.
Why can't I start a second adventure today?
You can only start one adventure per logical day (4 AM cutoff). The next start is available after 4 AM the next morning.
Are there Plus-only destinations?
Yes — St. John's is marked Plus-only and can only be booked with a Lookn Plus subscription. Paris, Willow Woods, and others are available to everyone.
What if I don't have 25 energy yet?
Keep claiming daily and weekly quests — each claim gives ~10 energy. You'll be ready in a couple of days at most.
