The shop & earning coins
The Shop is where you spend coins (called glow gems in-app) on furniture and koko outfits. Today's Picks rotates daily, the Essentials section is always available, and Travel sections appear when you're at a destination.
🛠️ How to earn coins
- Tasks — every completion gives 5 coins by default (configurable per task).
- Daily gift — claim 50 coins once per 24 hours from Home.
- Daily quests — 50 coins each, or a random common/uncommon item.
- Weekly quests — around 60+ coins, or a guaranteed common/uncommon item.
- Special quests — rare or premium items via WishBox (no coins by default; 300-coin fallback when all items are owned).
- Adventures — 150 coins per adventure day completed.
🛍️ Today's Picks
The shop's daily spread is 9 items, 3 per row:
- The top 6 (rows 1–2): open to everyone — a mix of common, uncommon, and rare pieces. The spread is balanced so you don't see five beds in a row.
- The bottom 3 (row 3): premium items, available with Lookn Plus. If there aren't enough premium pieces for the day, rare items fill the row instead.
Refreshing manually: the first refresh of the day is free. If you want a new spread after that, it gets a little pricier each time — 10 coins, then 35, then 60, then 85, and so on.
Tap any item to preview it on your dome before buying. Confirm to spend the coins — the item lands in your collection right away.
📌 Essentials
Below Today's Picks, the Essentials section shows 33 always-available items spanning every category (walls, floors, doors, beds, etc.). Essentials don't rotate — they're a stable baseline so you can always find something to fix up your dome.
💎 Rarities
- Common — most affordable, most plentiful.
- Uncommon — slightly pricier, shows up less often.
- Rare — mostly from quest rewards and the free rows of Today's Picks.
- Premium — Lookn Plus exclusives. Show up in row 3 and from special quest rewards.
Items you already own show an OWNED badge. Whatever's currently in your dome has a checkmark.
✈️ Travel destinations
Travel has its own section in the Shop. Destinations include Willow Woods (free, default), Paris (350 coins), St. John's (350 coins, Plus only), and a few more. Buying a destination ticket sends your koko there for a themed adventure. While they're visiting, location-exclusive furniture from that place appears in your Shop.
💬 FAQ
I bought something by mistake — can I refund?
Coin purchases are final, and there's no sell-back. The item stays in your collection forever, so you can always swap it in later. For real-money Lookn Plus purchases, see Canceling or restoring.
The shop is empty or won't load.
The shop needs an internet connection. Force-quit and reopen the app, then check Today's Picks again. If it's still empty, email support@looknapp.com.
Can I gift items to friends?
Not right now — but you can send them a feel, which is free and warm.
Are there other currencies besides coins?
Coins are the only Shop currency. Energy is its own separate thing used for adventures — you earn it from quest claims, it caps at 100, and you can't spend it in the Shop.
