Sending feels & shared tasks
A feel (boost) is a small bit of positive energy you send a friend. There's a free everyday pool, plus seasonal and premium options. Some feels also build your shared bond level.
💌 Sending a feel
- Tap a friend in the World or Friends tab.
- Tap Send a feel.
- Pick one. Free everyday options include: High five, Thinking of you, Good morning, Good night, Hey there, Just checking, Nice work, Dome love, You got this, Take a breath, Keep going, Sending comfort.
- Tap Send. Your friend gets a notification with your name and "sent you some love".
🌸 Seasonal & premium feels
On top of the free pool, Lookn rotates seasonal premium feels (Tulip wishes, Blossom love, Spring hop, Sunshine, Beach vibes, Boo-st, Tree-mendous, Wrapped love, Cozy snowfall) plus a few non-seasonal premium picks (Matcha mood, Rose love). Premium feels need Lookn Plus.
💞 What a feel does
- Notifies your friend so they know you're thinking of them.
- Proud feels (Nice work, Dome love, Wrapped love) add a bond point to your shared friendship level.
- Unread feels show on the Friends tab as a little count badge — visible for 30 days before they roll off.
⏱️ Sending limits
Each feel has a 5-minute cooldown per friend — you can't send the same one to the same person more than once every 5 minutes. Stops the spam, doesn't get in the way of real warmth.
🤝 Sharing a task
Sharing a task is the deeper version of a feel — you commit to doing the same thing together.
- Open one of your tasks and tap Share.
- Pick a friend. They get an invite waiting for them.
- When they accept, the task becomes active for both of you and shows up on your Shared Tasks list with a 7-day grid.
- Each day, both of you tap "Yes" or "No" for whether you did it. Both your check-ins are visible on the grid.
Doing the shared task adds to your bond level. Your individual completion also still counts toward your own streak.
💬 FAQ
Is there a daily limit on feels?
There's no daily cap — just a 5-minute cooldown per recipient per feel type. So you can send 12 different feels back-to-back if you want, you just can't send the same one twice within 5 minutes.
Can I send a feel to someone who isn't a friend yet?
No — feels need an accepted friend connection. Send them an invite first.
What if I miss the feel notification?
Open the Friends tab — unread feels show as a per-friend badge that stays for 30 days.
Why is a feel I want greyed out?
Greyed-out feels are premium (require Lookn Plus) or out-of-season. The premium ones unlock with Plus; seasonal ones rotate in and out throughout the year.
