Adding & managing friends
Friends are people you've added by sharing an invite code or scanning each other's QR codes. Once you're connected, you can visit each other's domes, send positive energy, share tasks, and grow your bond over time.
💛 Adding a friend
Every account has its own invite code and matching QR code — yours lives on the Friends tab.
- Open the Friends tab.
- Show your QR for them to scan, or tap Scan and point at theirs.
- A friend request goes through. The other side sees a preview (your koko's name, your username, your avatar) and taps Accept or Decline.
You can't accidentally double-add someone — Lookn blocks duplicates and pending requests so things don't get messy.
✉️ Accepting (or declining) a request
Incoming requests show up with a preview. Tap Accept to become friends, or Decline to dismiss. Declines are silent — the sender isn't told.
❓ What friends see about each other
- Your koko's name, your username, and your avatar.
- Your dome and your koko (view-only — they can drop in but can't change anything).
- Your most recent activity highlights.
- Any shared tasks you do together, on a weekly grid.
- Feels you've sent each other, and the bond level you've grown.
Never shared: your journal entries, your private mood notes, your full task list, your streak history, or any account info. The only mood data they see is what you've chosen to share publicly.
💞 Bond level
Every friendship has a shared bond that grows over time:
- Sending a Proud feel (Nice work, Dome love, Wrapped love) adds a bond point.
- Completing shared tasks together also adds points.
- When you reach the threshold (100 points × your current level), your bond levels up.
Your current bond shows on each friend's profile so you can see how the friendship is growing.
💔 Unfriending
Open the friend's profile and tap Unfriend. The connection ends on both sides immediately — your friends list refreshes and they drop off, no ghost entries left.
💬 FAQ
Can I block someone?
Unfriending is the main way to cut a connection. If you need something stronger, email support@looknapp.com with the details.
How many friends can I have?
No hard cap. Most people keep their list to close friends and family — the bond mechanic works best when each friendship gets attention.
Can my friends see what I journal?
No. Your journal entries are private and never shared with friends or anyone else. See Privacy & your data for the full list.
Can I add friends by username?
Not right now — adding is only by invite code or QR to keep random adds out. Share your code privately with people you know.
