Meet your koko

Your koko is the baby koala companion at the center of Lookn. You name them, dress them in outfits, watch them play through different moods, and watch your friendship deepen over time.

🐾 Naming your koko

When you sign up, the name field starts with a cute random suggestion. Tap shuffle for a new one or type your own (up to 20 characters). The default is Koko.

You can rename anytime. Open the Me tab and tap your koko's name — an edit window pops up. No penalties for changing it later; pick whatever feels right today.

😊 Mood & animations

Your koko has six little animations that play in different moments:

• Idle — chilling around, the resting look.
• Happy — after a check-in or quest claim.
• Thinking — during reflection prompts and loading screens.
• Waving — saying hi, often on the World tab.
• Dancing — milestones, big rewards, finishing an adventure.
• Being petted — when you tap them.

You can scroll through all of them on your koko's profile page — each tap on your koko moves to the next mood.

✋ Petting your koko

Tap your koko anywhere they show up (Home, your dome, their profile) to play the petting animation. Little hearts float up behind them — a tiny moment of joy.

👕 Outfits and customization

Your koko can wear:

• Something on their head — hats, headbands, accessories.
• Something on their body — bow ties, scarves, full outfits.

Buy outfits with coins in the Shop. Anything they're wearing shows up wherever they appear — your Home screen, your dome, and on friend visits. Some outfits are exclusive to Lookn Plus.

💞 Friendship tier

Your bond with your koko grows by days, not by points or grinding. As time goes by, your friendship tier moves up:

• 0–3 days: Friends 🤍
• 4–10 days: Pals 💗
• 11–25 days: Buddies 💞
• 26–50 days: Besties 💖
• 51–100 days: Heartmates 💘
• 100+ days: Forever 💝
